Direct booking are for 6 nights, from Saturday to Friday. For alternative lengths of stay, please contact us. Day hire not available.​

  • Fuel is included in the price. 

  • Two responsible adults are required for safe handling of the boat. Solo boating is not permitted.

  • A copy of your photo ID (drivers licence or passport) is required before arrival.

  • A £250 fully refundable deposit is payable before arrival and is returned following the safe, on-time return of the boat and its contents.

  • We recommend taking out your own holiday insurance to cover personal belongings.

Fully licenced and insured

For your peace of mind, The Purple Boat holds a full Canal and River Trust (CRT) Hire License, full public liability insurance and a commercial Boat Safety Certificate.
